[1.2] No sound when in gunner position of tank

Sometimes when i'm in the gunner position of a tank i cannot hear any of the battle noise. I can hear the ambient sounds but not gunshots, vehicles or explosions.

The only vehicles i can remember it happening in is the Merkava and the bmp3.
