Re: BF2 CD key matter anymore?
No. It has to be a key that can be possibly created using EA's key creating algorithm for BF2.WHPRaveman wrote:Thank you for the follow up. After reading it I am curious though. Would I be able to enter a random CD key like "iluv bfpr iluv bfpr" and as long as it wasn't registered with PR it would take it? Again I have the original cds and cd keys but now am paranoid about the cd key not working some how? Thanks for the clarification.

Please do not discuss methods of circumventing that. We don't want people to get the wrong idea, the PR community does not support pirating copies of BF2.
I'll let you discuss the problem at hand though ofc - that is, you bought 2 copies of the game that you cannot (legally) get to work.

So the only way to play again is to "format" your computer after your cdkey might be compromised.
Doesn't sound good (especially since I "lend" my BF2 manual to a "friend" and never saw it back) for me.
Too bad you guys don't have some sort of BF2 cdkeys database so you could confirm such key when entered and bind it directly to account.

Do we look like EA that has such resources? Of course if you pay for hosting and managing such database, sure, we can make one.John Cloud wrote:So the only way to play again is to "format" your computer after your cdkey might be compromised.

I dont see how a BF2 key would get compromised. Dont give it out or share it with anyone.
