UI disappears after alt-tab

It's quite simple; if I alt-tab out of the game in fullscreen, any type of in-game UI (map re-spawn menu etc disappears, and can't be brought back without restarting the game. The only thing that still works is the main menu. I have to use alt-tab a lot to organize recordings and use teamspeak

I would switch to windowed mode which doesn't have that issue, but I can't see ground textures on desert maps (Khamisiya, Black Gold) with windowed mode.

PRLauncher and PRBF2.exe should not have compatibility mode enabled.

After disabling compatibility mode, fullscreen works properly.

However using windowed mode (or borderless windowed) still causes missing textures. Reinstalling didn't help unfortunately.
