Error code 10060 when trying to log in

Error code 10060 when trying to log in
So i havent played PR in a few months, i just went to log in and it keeps giving me "1004: Error connecting to server. (10060)". I heard about gamespy shutting down a while ago so maybe that has something to do with it?

this happens when your internet can not communicate with the PRMaster (GameSpy substitute)

Did you update to 1.2.1 already? If not you might be trying to connect to the gamespy server that no longer exists.

Do i have to update to 1.2.1 manually? I have the PR launcher and everything (dont know what update that was) and im still getting news feeds from recent, but i haven't been prompted to update.

You can check your version in the support tab. It gets listed on top right there. You can also try to update by clicking on the little arrow next to play and selecting "check for updates"
