Re: Android PRSpy
Hi Turista,
sorry about that garbled PM, tried to type from my phone.
Let me retry explaining this:
Running it on a Nexus5 on a mod of Cyanogenmod with Android kernel 4.4.2 .
Prspy app is not fully unloading from cache and the process continues to run in background when I shutdown prspy from the ui.
I have to go to settings.,apps, running apps, then 'force stop' prspy to make sure PRSPY shuts down.
---------------
To anyone else running the app, can you try to replicate what I explained above and see if PRSPY continues to
1. stay in the cache (this is itself is not a problem)
2. continue to run in the background (this is a problem, imho, sucks battery power and IDK what it's doing)

I answer it before reading this.[R-COM]LITOralis.nMd wrote: *snip*
The app does maintain a working service, this is due the notification system.
I'm planing in fixing this but I'm busy with Uni and the fact I never had complaints and with this made the progress a bit slow.

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good Christmas
Version 1.2.7 is now rolling out in stages, those registered in the App group, link, will be able to download it first then slowly everyone should be able to download it.
The change-log is:
And this fixes weird back-button behavior, eg: if you open the Map details from the Server List you will return to this page instead of the Gallery when going back.

Why did you had to restart the app? When pressing back it would only take you to the Gallery where then you would open the Menu and switch to the Server Browser.[R-COM]LITOralis.nMd wrote:had to restart the app in the middle of a round a few times.

Pressing only one time?Daniel wrote:Pressing "back" button in map gallery closed the app...
On the first click you should get a message saying "Please click BACK again to exit" and only then you should exit the app.

Re: Android PRSpy
Ok, it probably did, not sure anymore, but now it does.
Also, icon is bugged, had to replace it completely on my home-screen after update. Also, what changed to Android 5 ? Anything at all or just marketing trick?

Even though I'm not involved in the development of the App I'm sure he simply made sure it runs on the latest Android version. He might also use the latest SDK to compile the app which has little to no effect for the user (at least yet).

Re: Android PRSpy
Just found out what has changed. Among the changes was:
- Replacing the update animation to a muuuuch more beautiful reload animation.
I wonder, why you didn't know what you change in your App, about the Android 5 changes, Uturista? Did you just include some 2.000 lines (just a pure guess!) of code or so from Google WITHOUT them telling you what exactly they contain?

Do you put effort in doing these comments so stupid or do they come naturally? I really don't know.Daniel wrote:I wonder, why you didn't know what you change in your App, about the Android 5 changes, Uturista? Just like BloodyDeed said I'm now compiling with Android 5.0 sdk and I'm sorry but not all changes create a big impact on the user, some are just under the hood changes.

Does your stupid rude reply come naturally?
Just about A 5, those so-called "under the hood changes" probably spy even more on us (Google most probably included more spying code. Just a warning.)

Daniel, maybe you need to take break from forums?Daniel wrote:Does your stupid rude reply come naturally?

And Google already knows everything they need to know or even more than that.

Re: Android PRSpy
Nope, Google barely knows sh*t about me, and I prefer to keep it that way. Why take a break? I just felt offended by Uturista, and that was it.

Re: Android PRSpy
Well given you have offended pretty much everyone on each forum you visit with you snappy comments I wouldn't be surprised if people snap back at you.
I heard Bing is great btw. Or maybe Yahoo Search? Out of the 1,1+billion people using google, I doubt they'll do much else with your search information other then giving you adds that fit your needs. Also please don't answer to this. Let's not go offtopic
