Banned for teamkilling

Hi there,

I just tried to join several PR servers for BF2.
However, with every server, i get the message : " You are banned for excessive teamkilling" .

Is there something wrong? I'm a new PR player ( played BF2 back in the days ) , so this does not seem right.
I've looked in the support forum, but couldn't find it.

Hope somebody can help.

Maybe it seemed those servers weren't full, but they probably had reserved slots. If you try to join a server with let's say 98 players and has 2 reserved slots, you get that message you mention.

Yes, this is what i initially thought as well.
However - should've mentioned this in the main post, sorry - , joining a server with 74/100 slots taken still makes me get the same message.

Yep that messages comes up if you are banned from a server and try to join. So either you got banned there previously or your key is pirated.

I'm ashamed to say so, but yes; my key is pirated.
Couldn't find the game anywhere, since they pulled it out of Origin/Steam store after Gamespy was shutdown.

Luckily, i managed to pick up a copy on a local site. Should have the game in a few days.


Can't wait.
