Can you post your AHK script? I used to have an AHK script that worked, but after one of the updates (1.1 or something?) it stopped working and I wasn't able to get it to work again. If you have a functioning AHK script that toggles crouch, I'd like to see it.

Mats391 made a very very excellent AHK for this exact purpose. I use a slightly modified version of his, and I highly recommend Mats391's solution:

https://github.com/Mats391/PRCrouchToggle

Edit the .ini file to match your in-game controls. I recommend setting CROUCH_INGAME to RWin.

The script works flawlessly; thanks Nightingale!

Sometimes I wonder how many prospective PR players try the game out and then quit when they realize there's no crouch-toggle integrated into the game.

Well that's why I quit the game at first. I think a lot of players who are used to ArmA, Red Orchestra, etc. are accustomed to having things like crouch-toggle, leaning, leaned-walking, crouch-sprinting etc. It's just something people naturally expect will be in a realism shooter. Having no toggle option just screams "this game was made on an engine with very severe limits in functionality!" and I bet at least some people assumed the worst out of this game before they had a chance to learn just how deep the gameplay is.

At first it was really jarring to me that I had to hold down LCtrl the whole time if I wanted to crouch behind a wall for an extended duration. Clearing a building while in ironsights, crouched, and sweeping every doorway would be a really awkward task if I didn't have an AHK for this.

BTW, does anyone know if the walking speed while crouched and ADS is faster than the walking speed while standing and ADS? To me it feels faster to clear rooms while crouched, but maybe it's just an optical illusion caused by having the camera lower to the ground?

For some weapons walking while crouched is faster than walking upright, only if zoomed in.
The wine was in and the wit was out!

Not just for "some" weapons but generally for all weapons without a scope.
