I've had my basic issues with mumble during the years of PR&mumble.
The new problem I have, is not fixable by restarting mumble or restarting the game either.
Being an audio engineer I also know my speaker/mic setup is correct so the problem is not there.
facts:
1. I see myself in the right mumble channel (the right squad)
2. My in-game mumble icon pops up green/blue when I speak local and force
3. Other people can hear me
4. In-game I can't hear anyone speaking in mumble, on local or force. Other players mumble icon does NOT pop up.
I'm down to my last joint so I would be awfully thankful for fast advise.

Re: New Mumble issue
Got new headset (logitechG930) and since then i sometimes get the same problem.
Only thing that helps is restarting computer.

Re: New Mumble issue
solved this problem.
some how the mumble volume was turned all the way to 0% in the mumble audio config menu, even thought I had not touched it.
So again, DEVs advice got me to the answer, after hearing no test sound I re-checked the output audio setup and the volume was on 0%.
maybe what happened was:
after muting and unmuting myself the sound volume in mumble was bugged and stayed at 0%. Also the windows sound mixer was not controlling the mumble volume anymore.
I was spooked that something bad was going on because I could not see other peoples mumble icon, but yeah tnx!
Restoring defaults did not help btw. I had to use the volume control manually from the output audio setup.
