BF2 Required!?

hey guys, I'm new and have never owned BF2. I cannot find it on Amazon.ca, Steam or Origin. I checked and I cannot find a boxed version in my country (Canada). I'm really into tactical shooters and this game really looks great. Can anyone help me find a copy?

if it does work...and eventually u get it. u need to install 1.41 patch and the 1.5 patch before installing pr.

OK, I bought it, its on the way..the Complete Edition. I'll read the manuals before playing. Do you guys scheduale server time to play with people are are there people online a lot?

Plenty of people online, you should have no issues there I think .

Main thing is you read PR manual because I lot of important game mechanics are described there and there is people online all the time. During EU peak times it might be even up to 300 to 400 players online.

Since you're in North America, the two most active servers are HOG and PRTA NA/1; make sure you check their forums first before jumping on so that you know the rules of the server and don't get in trouble for being new and not knowing the rules. Servers are populated most days from early morning to late night in NA times. Other than that, flood luck and have fun .

Have a go at Slorgs tutorial videos instead. Or search for "Project Reality Tutorial" on youtube, and help yourself.

Thanks guys, I'll check out the YouTube videos and such. I bought BF2 becasue I'm not downloading a torrent and risk getting a Virus from it, its was $19 so thats not too bad.

The video by slorgs is a bit out of date now with the installation process but the gameplay tips are still relevant.
