'Limeni[BiH wrote:;2053659']Seriously someone is offended by players shouting allahu akbar? haha that's funny
its not heil hitler or something
that's an interesting comparison.

Heil Hitler isn't very subjective imo, generally people will say it as the Nazi salutation, however Allahu Akbar is a phrase that can mean different things at different times

saying it at a moderate Islamlic wedding is different to a islamist saying it on the battlefield, which is different to saying it ingame

saying it ingame is odd, I just don't get it, are you praising god in Arabic? Roleplaying insurgents?

I'm not insulted, I just think it's odd, it's subjective in how it's being used and received ingame so I can see why people are uncomfortable

It's not offensive.

If you think it's so offensive, say GabeN Akbar instead.

LOL, Come to Detroit... you will find plenty of them downtown when events are occurring.

But OT,
I don't think it's racist. I've heard a lot more racist things then that, if anyone thinks it is racist. If you think it's racist, then saying: "Jesus Christ" is racist too then.

It's not offensive until you are not muslim but keep in mind allah akbar is not a battle cry, billions of muslims use this words for their daily prayers.

And is simply mean God is great, not i blew up an ied or behead some hostages.

it has a lot of meanings , I blew up an IED and behead hostages are ones of them (ISIS)

so saying it WITHOUT killing people IRL is normal

EDIT: I have 69 post

It's offensive i think. But wait a second, I thought that freedom of speech allows you to be slightly offensive until you're not full ad hominem.
