Can you just program a bot to answer this question? It might be the most time-saving feature in all of PR.

Saw a post from K4on where he mentioned that PR1.3 won't have any WW2 or Falklands stuff in it.

I'm not sure as to how privy he is to this info because I'm pretty sure he "retired" like 6 months ago.

I should look into writing a script for that, it could post patient bear or something ^^

For obvious reasons we don't give release date information because things tend to Change. Also because most of our team is currently in school and quite busy right now.

Don't get me wrong, there is progress, but we can't say for sure when a release will come. I'm sure there will be another test at some point similar to the Omaha weekend event, but everything depends on how much time we're willing to give at the expense of our free time :)

For the time being, check out the tales from the front section or some videos posted on the ww2 Omaha beta media thread to wet your appetite!

It's been pretty quiet so I was wondering how things are coming along. Any updates?

We have enough content for an update for over a month but there are a few technical obstacles atm preventing us from doing so. Hopefully we'll get around that sometime this month.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think there might be another test like the alpha before Normandy is implemented into PR?

I think the upcoming playable build will be the actual Beta, which will remain playable until 1.0 is out.

Nice! Describes exactly how I feel. And congrats on becoming a beta tester. Did you become one so you could play Normandy before everyone else?

Arc or AD may pitch in later, but at the moment while things are a little slow (school, work, life, etc.), but things are still going! We're planning on a small update similar to what we've had before in the near future, but of course we have to get everything together for that first, which does take a little time when waiting for certain things to be completed ;)

On the Normandy map, should the Americans be allowed to build a FOB on the beach? I'm rewatching old gameplay and it seems like a common strategy was to just build a FOB on the beach so you could instantly be back in the fight instead of the Americans having to attack in waves.

Would there be any way to block this strategy or are you guys ok with it staying like that?
