Damn, nice compilation. Anyone know how the "house of pain" got its name? Seems like such a strange name since the other ones are so straightforward.

Wookies
Snipers, because ya know they were the ghillie suits and stuff and makes perfect sense.
Allah Akbar/Ahola Snackbar/any variation
A typical greeting to anyone whose on the insurgent team, excluding the Militia faction. Typically a battle cry, compliment, or just a way of getting known. Common used when insurgents are en massed and taking fire from a LAV,Kiowa,Tank,etc. Best used when in a car with several people to launch either good or bad suicide attacks.
Cyka
Russian for *****, commonly used by anyone playing as Russia or Militia because cheeki breeki.
Shekels
Commonly said among Hamas and IDF players, examples range from.
"GET THEIR SHEKELS!" to
"MUH SHEKELS!"
Highly offensive and funny when used properly.

Sounds like considering there's only one way in or out barring grappling hooks it essentially is a pain to enter without someone dieing.

But it's very easy to kill the occupants with a grenade or LAT, or keep them suppressed since it's just one room. I've experienced more pain being killed trying to defend this type of building than attacking it!

Maybe because a lotta people die in it? I dunno that is first time I've heard it called that.

This thread has a lot of potential, but there is just too much BS here from some players.

GJ, way to ruin something guys.
The wine was in and the wit was out!

I believe the credit for the buildings part of it goes to MineralWouter, and that the source of this material is his, found here: PR's Vocabulary - Project Reality Tournament Wiki

Very nice page there, but the ongoing Wounded vs Dead Dead thing is very unfortunate, confusion reigns very often 'cause of it, many times people calling for medic, medic's running all over the place trying to find the guy... if only he'd said "I'm hit", medic wouldn't have been trying to find a prone body.

Hit
Down
Dead

Clear, concise, simple. Too bad most people can't handle straight-forward concepts.

I've borrowed from this material to make my own list because I want to avoid duplicate names for buildings... everyone should learn the one and only name for each building, to avoid confusion and to have only the one standard for naming PR buildings.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cYJ ... sp=sharing

Hopefully one standardized naming convention can be established eventually.

Please confirm or what the real standards are

"RPG, RPG (insert bearing)!"

this doesn't mean Role Playing Game. It means there is e.g an insurgent firing small arms at you, but by saying RPG! you will wake the armor guys up.

guide to help armored vehicles:

AK-47 = RPG!
Rocks = RPG!
RPG = insurgent with ak47

It's an old vBF2 term. And yes, as someone mentioned earlier, a lot of people would die in it.
