Without fail, PR crashes at exactly midnight every night. This has happened while playing on both on the Veterans Gaming Co-op server and the PRTA LA #2 server. Let me know if there are any log files I can provide you to help debug this (it will help you get a head-start on Windows 10 support).
Computer Specs:
CPU: i7 4770k
RAM: 16GB
GPU: HD5870 w/2GB DDR5
HD: 128GB SSD
Since it always happens at exactly midnight (Pacific time zone) I suspect that the game is somehow tied to the date (probably in memory somewhere) and when the date changes the program doesn't know how to handle it.

Haha. Windows 10 is a full and stable OS. I don't expect the devs to put this at the highest priority on their list but they should be aware of it. I suspect it will be relatively easy to resolve. I will survive the occasional crashes and I am not asking for a pity party, I just wanted to report a bug. As a dev myself I appreciate it when people help me find bugs in my software so that I can make it better and I am just returning the favor.
Is there a bug report section I should have posted this to instead of support?

No its not. Its a technical preview and final product may differ.nivekv wrote:Haha. Windows 10 is a full and stable OS.
I think you should report this bug to Microsoft, it has nothing to do with BF2? I ran Win7 x64 and before that I ran Win XP x32 and x64 and that shit never happened. Now you come here and claim how it crashes at midnight Pacific Time Zone and you run a OS which is in preview phase. Some logic there?I just wanted to report a bug. It won't be anywhere on any priority list cause it's likely its either windows or bf2's fault. On which we both have little to say about. I can only see this possible if it's somehow connected to the PR launcher. But the bug does not seem to happen on other OS so this is clearly on Windows 10 end (or simply something else that you have) and it's only a question if we can do anything about it. And yes,we have a bug report sectionnivekv wrote:Haha. Windows 10 is a full and stable OS. I don't expect the devs to put this at the highest priority on their list but they should be aware of it. also, windows 10 is a TECHNICAL preview used for feature feedback and stability testing. It's not made for daily usage and gaming at all. Do not call it full and stable please, don't be that ignorant
But anyway, thanks for the report
