mouse won't move

I just started the game today like I always do, joined a server, everything normal so far.
Then I was on the kit selection screen and couldn't move my mouse, I was still able to use my keyboard to press "esc" in the "esc" menu the mouse worked again.
After that I looked the problem up in this forum, to find the "solution" reset the controlls, so I did but it didn't work.
any suggestions/solutions that might work?
