Cant get pr working

Post by Jonsson »

Hi Im kinda new to this forum so I dont know if this is the right place to push this thread.

Anyway. I cant get my PR working on windows 7. It just gives me a black screen and then takes me back to the desktop. I have changed the comp mode to windows xp SP2 and SP3. Also running it as a admin and nothing is working :( Anyone got a clue why?

  • Install the game into desktop instead of installing it into program files?
  • Are you sure that the game itself is not corrupted?
  • Is the DVD good? Have you tried downloading No-DVD cracks? (shouldn't be even illegal if you own the real copy of BF2)
  • .. Download a clean BF2 from teh_internets and install it with your CD-key.

Yea but I red somewhere that BF2 has a problem to start with Windows 7. It was made for XP I think... I had this problem with Command and Cunquer Generals as well

Did you install it in another directory? That helped for me when I used Windows 7. The game wasn't BF2 but GTA San Andreas :D

Sounds like your screen resolution doesn't match PR resolution to me.
Post specs from launcher support tab here.
