Hi all,
I recently opened up PR again this week and jumping straight into a SL position (force of habit) I soon found that although shiny and cleaner PR is still the same squad based tactical team work its always been!
Its nice to see a few old faces, just a shame there is only 4 populated servers, i used to admin and support the *NwA* - Noobs with attitude server "back in the day" its also nice to see that quite a few i have spoke to have also just returned to PR.
New additions such as dual sights / rocket strikes / specialist kit allowances etc are spot on, im glad to see PR is still thriving and I hope to have many more battles with and against you all soon.
The best bit though has to be the way newer players are and have integrated in, are taken under the wing, like I was by *NwA* and are being moulded into great team players and tacticians, for instance one lad on my squad wasn't the most clued up on "all around defence" so one of the guys took him by the hand almost and showed him where we were all positioned and thus where he should be, the next time we came to a halt he was the first one to pipe up "NORTH COVERED" brilliant!!
LONG LIVE PR and all who sail on her!

Re: Back in the wonderful world of PR
I used to love the NWA servers back in the day. I've also come back after five years or so, and it's great to see that the game is still so popular.
So far i've only managed to squeeze in a few games, but I have been amazed at the number of people playing with mics these days.
All the updates look to be pretty solid too. That said, is there a reason why the chinook travels/maneuvers so quickly?

Microphones are a requirement in the rules in most decent serversTheOptimist wrote: So far i've only managed to squeeze in a few games, but I have been amazed at the number of people playing with mics these days.

Hey, 4 full servers now equates to like 8 full servers in previous versions. We got 100 player servers now.

4 full servers is more than enough. It's nice finally that as a European you can find games at nearly any time of the day. There was a period when I had to play with Australians ..
