Distribution of PR

Post by bullitmagnet »

Hi,
I would love to play this wonderful mod as I have watched Bludrake24 play it for quite some time, but have only just gotten it for an absolute bargain. FREE, full legit copy just given to me, which i was happy about and thought RIGHT patch and install pr....then i realised its frikkin HUUUUGE!

I should have expected this, but i cant download it. So I thought that it might help with costs of the mod to fans if there was a disc that you could buy a disc with the latest version of the mod on it. Now I know that I am new to this forum but it might help with costs of the servers and other things.

WHo thinks this would be a good idea?

anyway, I am trying to get the mod now but i cant leave the pc on for as long as it would take to download, so if someone has a better way of getting it for now?

regards all!

Setting up a whole distribution line for discs costs a lot, and would probably result in a net loss.

You will only ever have the choice to download it, OP. Learn how to use torrents. And if it takes a few days to download, so be it.

uTorrent works fine. Its easy. You can pause, restart and control KB/s up and down and all the usual torrent stuff.

No. Please people, stop using utorrent. It records your IP and your download history to a global database.

I suggest qbittorrent as an easy alternative.

it occupies computational power of your PC, slows it down and increases energy use which you'll have to pay for. Such a practice of including an unwanted software is a big no-go.
