Vehicle recognition guide?
I'm an infantry player who has almost no experience with armor but I'd still like to learn what all of the factions have so I can relay info more accurately to asset squads. Has anyone ever made a vehicle recognition guide or at least a list that shows the vehicles each faction gets? Thanks.

It is somewhat out of date, but a very good place to start.WGP - Project Reality Wiki
This wiki offers extensive technical information to all gameplay elements of the Battlefield 2 modification Project Reality. The information provided in this wiki are extracted directly from the game files and thus are as objective as possible. This also makes it possible to provide much more in-detail information compared to other sources such as the PR manual.

You must be hated by friendly vehicle operators Mats.
On topic, if you have a slight interest in military vehicles it isn't that hard to remember but most people just use one vehicle type for every single one of them which can confuse the hell out of someone who actually knows what's up.
It would be useful to actually know what the enemy is deploying with and the rough shape of that vehicle, especially as there are huge differences between vehicles that they all called APCs. If they can tell you what it is you can know if there is an ATGM to the face to expect.

Just don't call the Cobra "Apache" and vice versa..
Its SO evil, it may actually encourage EA to support Modding again - Pantera

Re: Vehicle recognition guide?
Thanks everyone. The Project Reality Wiki was really helpful but I was wondering if the vehicle ticket values are correct because I can't make sense of them.
Any Russian BTR, even the one with the 30mm cannon, is worth only 2 tickets while the Israeli M113 "Shitbox" APC is worth 5. And 5 is also how much the Namer is worth, which isn't even comparable to the M113 because it has tank armor.
Anyone know what's going on with this because it seems really inconsistent?

I assume M113 is worth a lot due to having a big supply crate(at least last time I bothered playing it).fatalsushi83 wrote:Thanks everyone. The Project Reality Wiki was really helpful but I was wondering if the vehicle ticket values are correct because I can't make sense of them.

Russian BTR-80 is very situational; no thermals and comparatively weak armour means they often lose 1v1 against BluFor APC aside from shitty m113.
30mm only somewhat even the odds.

BTR80 is 5 tickets same as M113 currently. In next patch ticket costs for M113 and similar "shitboxes" are getting reduced to 2
