Oh, well just my two cents. I like your videos bluedrake and I think you have helped PR with a good amount of new players, I'm just hoping to see some more positive comments about PR
As you watch his videos you should know that he loves pr just as the next of us. Also, I dont think that this is serverfeedback related. ;)

It seems as though it was time for another "omg PR so dead" thread, should not happen in here though.

Obviously PR is far from dead and Squad is far from ready.
So whoever is spreading unnecessary "PR-is-dead" deserves the PR inquisition sent for him.

Its true that with more servers and players the Community will be less harassed but there won't be any differences regarding servers, good software has little to no impact on DDOS.

Dont question the wikipedia! Just because it reports different things on different languages does not make it unreliable source!

Please talk about Squad in its dedicated forum or thread on this forum.

Cleanup happening. I'll contemplate whether I want to infract someone.

Bluedrake, you're not doing yourself a favour by pointing out how everyone was OT, including a quote of me saying 'BTT' and then still hit send. That just prompts everyone else to continue... I deleted all the posts that followed because it just got personal from that point on and every one of them was either poisonous or a reaction thereto.

A bit of information loss happened, I'll rephrase it here:

Bluedrake pointed out, to answer the question about Squad and FCV, that he did not mean to say that FCV was going to leave PR any time soon, but that he was looking forward to setting up a server for Squad in the future. I hope I do not misquote you here.

That's the end of that topic. Don't make me get back in here, I'm doing my best to be patient.

Had a horrible experience tonight. Your admin team was not on point at all. Specifically, the admin named Admiral was largely useless. There were so many people team killing in Russian main on Beirut. In addition, IDF had a FOB that had AA locking helicopters on the Russian carrier. When reported (at least 5 times, I might add) he kicks the havoc pilot for "asshatting." The only thing the havoc pilot did was report that we were getting locked in main. The admins kicked anyone who disagreed with them. I find this insulting and unacceptable. Please address this issue with your administration team.

Welp that's the biggest complaint we've had in a while, obviously that kind of behavior is the exact opposite of what we want. I'll have Surface launch an investigation.

We are currently not running BR to maximize server stability.

That opens the door for any abusive behaviour that won't be able to be sanctioned because there is no br to review it.

Well... I refer to my admin's judgement to server stability in keeping it off. Additionally I've heard some advanced server administration software being developed by r-devs should be released soon, that will make it much easier to track and discipline cheaters accordingly.

Until then, I think we've decided to focus on player reports for tracking hackers over BR to make sure the server crashes as little as possible. We're between a rock and a hard place here... there's no reason to turn on BR if there aren't any players to play on our server if it crashes all the time.

Sounds fair. Out of curiosity, do you know if it made any difference to the average crash frequency? I'm guessing you implemented a bunch of things at once so it would be hard to isolate any one factor, but has server stability improved (I haven't really been playing in these last 2 months since I started my new job :( )
