[Help] Port models from older BF titles to battlefield 2

hello,

about 1-2 years ago, i found a tutorial of how to port models from older battlefield (1942, vietnam) to battlefield 2 or 2142, but the forum went down.

anyone has the tutorial and will repost or can explain here how to do ?

it will be for private use only, i wont release anything.
