I couldnt disagree with you more.
Especially the difficulty to distinguish between friend and foe adds alot to gameplay.
Also the range of factions and settings makes every map feel a bit like a new game. This adds to the replayability alot. Imo

USMC, Germany and IDF, because I like the looks of the weapons

Too bad the G36 will be scrapped IRL, will they update the weapon in PR once the german army introduces another one?

It's not an easy choice to pick between the most fun faction and the most overpowered faction.

Not to be negative but I'd like to mention my least favorite faction for infantry combat. It's MEC. The G3 makes you feel incredibly vulnerable when fighting at close range because of the huge recoil and tunnel-vision scope. Red dot doesn't help because it negates the one advantage the G3 has, which is long range and accuracy. Combine that with a weak LAT and you have a recipe for the least likable infantry faction, IMO. I think this is most obvious on maps like Muttrah where a lot of the fighting is close to medium range and the US can take out any of your armor assets with a single LAT shot while the RPG feels like a pea-shooter. Anyone else feel this way?

MEC needed two RPG-7 for alt Rifleman AT kit like RUS.

RPG-26 is just so bad at the moment; I rather take RPG-7(not only is it more plentiful, but it has better sights too).

For the weight of one RPG-7, you could(and probably would) carry two RPG-26.

I'm starting to feel that MECs fate on maps like Muttrah is usually decided by the quality of their armor squads. If you have no armor support as MEC, you're pretty much fodder for the LAVs and especially AAVs, which are infantry-killing machines. Even if your squad gets one hit on an AAV with an RPG-26, its going to thoroughly pepper your building with grenades before you reload and get another shot off. US on the other hand, can kill or at least severely damage any MEC APC with their LAT, which has the additional advantage of flying very straight and fast. I agree that if the Russian alt LAT gets two PRG-7s then MEC should get them as well.

EDIT: That's a good point about the weight. Interesting how two RPG-26s weigh about as much as a single RPG-7. I can't say if it's realistic to issue two of them to one guy but the US does get two LAWs with the alt LAT kit.

Seeing the number of votes for the German faction and the the recent number of active PR servers in Germany, I wonder how quickly the German faction will be implemented into Squad. There certainly seems to be a strong playerbase in that area.

CAF still very popular, I hope they will make their way into squad soon. A lot of the assets would be similar to US as well so that always bodes well for Canada.

BluFor faction with fullauto AR15 would be popular.

Dutch forces will probably get more votes now that they are on more maps.
