Small mistake in the 1.3 manual

Post by Grey_Echo »

Hi there !
I'm translating the oficial 1.3 manual in French found a small incoherence :
Page 29 : "Infantry kits are obtainable in a squad of at least 4 people."
Page 32 : "Request-able Infantry kits are available to players in a squad with at least 6 players"
Am I missing something ?

I would also like to be sure, is "It can also provide you with your CD-Key Hash" page 7 still revelant for the 1.3 standalone version ?

I'm new to this game so it's totally possible I just don't understand something, but I find those strange. And if this thread isn't where it should be, then I'm sorry. I couldn't find the right place for it.

I believe the disagreement between 4 and 6 refers to different kits.

With the exception of the grenadier, the kits that you can spawn with (Rifleman Specialist, Rifleman AT, and Automatic Rifleman) become available with a squad of 4. Some other kits that you have to request off a crate require a 6 person squad, including marksman, grenadier and machine gunner.

AFAIK, the CD key hash feature should still be in 1.3. Although PR will no longer use EA's CD keys, a hardware "CD key" will be used in its place since it is the identifier that servers typically use to ban players. To deal with unbans, players will sometimes need to supply the admins with their "CD key", which they can find out using this tool.
