What was the reason behind canning Shikotan Island? There didn't seem to be anything wrong with it.

Well I'm not sure exactly why the devs decided to remove it, but here is why I am glad it's gone.... THE RANDOM DITCHES :mad:

Seriously I've had to commit suicide several times because I got stuck in those, I've also seen APCs that have fallen in there and were abandoned for the rest of the round...


In insurgency it's seriously unbalanced

Rabbit, who created Shitokan, hates it and supposedly it has awkward gameplay. All the times that I've played, it just dragged on and on so I can't disagree. Arctic Lion was added to the last version just to give the Dutch another map to play on, but it's incomplete and really buggy, so much that the devs gave up trying to fix it (I think Mineral gave it a try since the original mapper can't work on it anymore). I was just starting to get the hang of how to lead infantry on Arctic so I'm sad to see it go. Had an amazing round last time I played.

By the way, did the Dutch infantry faction animations get updated? I remember the grenadier looks like he has broken fingers.

may i ask a question about the chinese edition of PR, do we have new Chinese word stock for us to working on? as we are trying to help in translating those words in to Chinese, the BF2 original chinese word stock is definitely not enough.
I never think about to come back alive when I come to this world ;-)
