how to retrieve existing account? HELP!

I played till yesterday Project reality 1.2 and now after I installed 1.3 I cannot remember my password only my player ID. Is there a different way online to retrieve a PR master server account?

The game menu does not allow you to enter your player ID and then send you an email.

Unfortunately this is not an option at this point. The new PR master server works the same way the old gamespy system worked . There it was also not easy to retrieve lost accounts. You'll have to make a new account or figure out a way to remember your old pw.

You can also *try* to see if your old profiles can be retrieved from your hard drive (yes, after they were deleted), using Recuva. It's a simple and free tool. You might get lucky and be able to retrieve your "Profile.con" back .

It was located in My documents/ProjectReality/Profiles/0001/
(0001 is the default, could also be 0002 if you had multiple profiles)

Hi, i just uninstalled pr1.2, but kept my old /ProjectReality/Profiles/ directory, can i use/leave this directory in my documents before installing pr 1.3 ? thx
