Project Reality Crash After Intro ?!?!

Post by TomicSauce »

I'm new to PR and tried it out when the 1.3 update came out and was able to play for a few hours but when I tried to log on it passes the intro then I can see the menu for about 1 second then it crashes and it give me the text "PR:BF2 is cleaning up resources" I have uninstalled, and re-installed, and changed screen resolution, aswell as clean my profile and make a new profile but sofar nothing has worked, help would be so much appreciated.

TomicSauce , that laptop can not run PR.

Goast, set the game to run in windowed mode, it should then show a popup window with the exact error message.

PRLauncher->Options->UNTICK the Fullscreen tickbox->Select the window size to something smaller->Click APPLY. Run PR to test. copy the error msg and report back.

I've run project reality on this laptop before it worked for about a week before it eventually started coming up with the error message when I tried to login.

TomicSauce

Set your windows DPI back to 100% ,

Make sure your notebook is plugged in, and your Windows power setting is set to High Performance.

Did all that, the crash still happens should I try making another account on my computer and trying to install it there?

It stoped crashing like that after I added all the pr related stuff to firewall exceptions. I'm using the AVG firewall
