[PA] Project Awesome

If you are looking for a very fun and welcoming gaming community Project Awesome might be the place for you. We are a global community of people who get together to play all kinds of games but at http://www.reddit.com/r/projectmilsim we focus entirely on Project Reality and ARMA.

We run our own server and also do pubbing together on the weekends.

A few things to know about PA:

• We run a Teamspeak server located at projectawesome.net
• We have a steam group located here
• We have a Facebook page located here
• We do our very best to make sure that events are scheduled regularly and that we always have a server up and available for the community.
• Also, we have a large list of people who help us keep our subreddit and Teamspeak free of spammers, trolls and just all-around shit heads.
• We will also be heavily involved with Squad and have even been lucky enough to be involved with their testing and put on their Kickstarter page!

Once we get our numbers closer to 50 or so people, we are going to start trying to have regular events with other communities like we used to do in the past. We would love to have you on the awesome side!

Hi all!

I'm new to Project Reality and although I love the game this far, it's been difficult to consistently find squads with active squad leaders who can give me guidance when I need it.

I was wondering if perhaps Project Awesome would be a good place for me to meet some cool people to play with who can help get me more accustomed to the game?

You're more than welcome to give it a shot. You can find us at Project Awesome. Message the mods there if you have any questions and look for event posts for each weekend. Our Teamspeak IP is projectawesome.net. Feel free to jump in the PR channel and play anytime and if others are looking to play they will join you. It's a process of rebuilding now but we are consistent enough that we will eventually be able to fill our server again. Let me know if you have any questions.

I saw your recruitment post on /r/ProjectReality.

Where is your server located? Since TG doesn't have a server anymore I've just been roaming random ones. I'd love to help out with the server if you guys start it up. Not sure I'd help with seeding the server, but I'm a proven SL and if you're going to supply the new people, I can teach them up (while kicking ***).
