Hello everyone,
I am glad I finally started playing on this awesome game with 1.3. Something however bothers me. Like the title said, the commo rose texts are almost never displayed, except some things like sorry. Is it possible to enable those again ? I know I can get only english audio but well, I don't like it. For arabic and chinese it's fine (BF2) but Russian, Dutch etc... Even with BF2 languages i am sometimes scared to have misunderstood some messages like get in, or need a medic.
Thanks for your answers

No. That would make the chat even more spammy. Generally speaking the in-game voices by the commo rose shouldnt be used at all, since the enemy can hear them. Just use local mumble to communicate with other people around you. It will also increase your chance of somebody notices you. I for example are simply ignoring in-game voices, since they are just distracting and annoying and often only used to spam and not communicate.

Yeah I like using it from time to time cause it's cool that soldiers can talk, and lol i don't even care if someone hears it, it's not like in real life soldiers communicate telepathically without any sounds.

Yes about realism, but I guess it's a matter of game design. But I don't see why I should be penalized if I do not want to hear automatic message in English but can not understand Russian or stuff. Maybe add an option to get full text? Hearing other languages is so important for immersion imho.

Yeah I guess if you were a Russian soldier you would not be confused by Russian language in real life (unless you are a foreign volunteer)Padichat wrote:Yes about realism, but I guess it's a matter of game design.
