Hey guy's, I'm horribly new to PC gaming, and I am having trouble playing PR. As in, lag trouble. I have no clue what the deal is. So what happens is, is that I am playing in a match, and the game starts lagging once I am either running or getting shot at, or even shooting back. Even when the graphical settings are set to low. When I walk, my gun has like a spasm and acts like he's sprinting and the gun goes from sprint, to regularly pointing at something really fast. Here are my specs.

Is there anything I need to be aware about or should do to get rid of this lag? What's funny, is that when I am in the re spawn menu, I have absolutely no lag at all (even when the graphical settings are on high). It's just when I run or look around or get shot at.

Re: Lag during matches,
Welcome to PC gaming! It's a wonderful and crazy thing! Umfortunately, your Celeroj CPU at 2.1 GHz is a tad slow for PR.
The old BF2 Refractor game engine is limited to a single CPU core. It loves fast chips. The only significant gains people see is higher minimum frames per second after overclocking their CPUs. PR runs better on my LGA 1150 4790k quad core at 4.4 GHz compared to my LGA 2011 4930k hexacore at 4.2 GHz.
(Graphics cards are dual 780s in SLI)
TL;DR- if you're comfortable doing it, overclock your CPUs people!

Aww man, what do you think I could do to make PR run faster? Is there anything I could do to raise my CPU from 2.1 to a higher number? (Also thanks for the welcome!)
