errormessage when trying to open flags

hello,

i need help.

i want to edit some flags from the menu_client, but when i want to open the flagfiles for example in menu_client/external/flashmenu/images/joingame, i get a errormessage in photoshop that says "could not complete your request because the fileformat module cannot parse the file".

but i can open the pictures to view them, but trying to open them with any photoeditor tool, i get a errormessage and they are in png format.

how to edit them?
