BF PR 1.3 = more trolls / base TKing?

I noticed just off the bat as I started playing 1.3 that there were more TK'ing and trolls there.
Is there no way of banning permantently now since the game requires no CD key since it's standalone?
The trolls basically said "I don't give a fuuuu about ban! and you can't ban me! I just create a new character" ...etc.

Most smacktards will get bored with the game. We have a massive influx of new players. Let them settle and work out the mechanics and game play. Itll be fine.

My major consern here is the CD key. if you can just change another character and enter a server your previous character has been banned from, this will be a problem. Or can the admin ban IP addresses aswell? If so then I would feel safer and sleep at nights

This is from the changelog:

Added new CD key code. All CD keys will be updated and are now machine locked.

We can ban people and we do.
Additionally we can also ban via IP which we also do.

There is also quite a lot of cooperation between some servers so griefers might end up from the majority of servers.

There is simply an unpreventable delay between a griefer deed and a ban.

Make sure you report the respective people to the server admins (!r offendername doing this and that)
if there's no admins or admins don't react: Join a proper server.
