Post by CheeseToast »

Hello, i have been having problems after installing patch 1.3 with my FPS stuttering, and getting low FPS while its not stuttering/dropping, i get around 25 FPS on low settings which even my old POS laptop could out do, i was wondering if there is any way to get rid of the FPS drops and increasing my average FPS. these are my PC's specs

i mean i know the bulldozer sucks for games but these fps drops are really bad. its pretty much the same as dayz if im out in the forest i get stable fps the moment i look where the actions is it drops to 25. i guess its just an amd thing sadly.

Edit: also i get no change in fps with either low or high setting its always the same

Guys, the Bulldozer 6XXX really does suck for PR. If you can OC your CPU you'll see pretty good increases.

3. Download Bitsum ProcessLasso Free. Make sure you download the correct version, Free 32 bit or Free 64 bit, Process Lasso - Automate and optimize process priorities, CPU affinities, power profiles, and more! http://bitsum.com/prolasso.php
-- Start PR, JOIN AN ONLINE SERVER, alt tab to desktop, open ProcessLasso window, right click on PRBF2.exe, PRLauncher.exe, and PRMumble.exe and set the PRBF2.exe to gaming mode, and give them high or higher access to RAM.
Unpark your CPU Cores in ProcessLasso->Options->Configure CPU Core Parking->UNpark your cores.
You can also use Razer Gamebooster to shut down as many background processes as you can, to save CPU cycles. http://www.razerzone.com/cortex/game-booster

Yeah thanks for the tips but i dont really like OC during summer ya know.
Dont buy amd for gaming guys it really sucks with cpu heavy games like the arma engine and also bf2 the single core performance are really bad compared to intel and developers dont really optimize for multi cores.
