It was a bug that was fixed in v1.3.1. It was on patchnotes; no excuse not knowing.Jevski wrote:Thanks for being so condescending. But you did say that mines disappear after 5 min, not that they disappear 5 min after your die, that a huge difference. Also as far as i recall its 10 min. but im not to sure about that. Couldnt find anything in the manual, only in old threads.
But yes mines disappear X min AFTER you die.

Yet your statement is still wrong. Mines do not disappear after 5 minutes PERIOD! Even considering the bug. Your still missing the KIT/Death part in your sentence to be anywhere correct.

Nope, I posted mines does NOT disappear in 5 minutes anymore.Jevski wrote:Yet your statement is still wrong. Mines do not disappear after 5 minutes PERIOD! Even considering the bug. Your still missing the KIT/Death part in your sentence to be anywhere correct.
It did disappear in 5 minutes, after dropping the kit.
Don't try to bullshit anyone.
Just because you don't know what I referred to that does not mean I am wrong; it just means you didn't know.

Mate this thread is also for new players as the title says. We can barely get new players to read the manual, do you really think they will be reading the changelog?
"It did disappear in 5 minutes, after dropping the kit."
YES, but you didnt say so! You cant be having a conversation based on what you think other people might know
Coming with a statement like that is misinforming players. If you had mentioned "after kit disappears" then you would be right, but you didnt and hence your statement is wrong.
I could also write "mines disappear after 2 min." Which is a wrong statement.
But with your thinking, it would be true, because you could add "When an enemy engineer passes by and removes the mine"
"It did disappear in 5 minutes, after dropping the kit."

That's not what I did; I don't need to specify the condition because that's irrelevant(now that it's fixed). The point, which you blatantly missed, is that they don't do that anymore.
