In-game PRLauncher text spam, bottom left of screen.

I've been trying to sort this out without any luck and I can't seem to find anyone else with the problem.




I've deleted the Project Reality settings folder in My Documents and it still persists. This happens on any server and the text stays there, it goes over to the right of the screen as you can see in the image.

Any info on this would be great as it breaks my immersion a little lol.

Seems like the launcher (or Mumble) can't really find the part in your pc's memory to place some decent text there. This is not the best description, but it's basically what it is .

Could you post your system's specs? You can find them through your launcher: Launcher > Support > Copy to Clipboard. Then simply paste here.

It's been so long since this problem has cropped up I forgot how to fix it.

it's a really easy fix too, I just can't find the search terms to find the old forum threads :\

I think it has to do with antivirus or firewall blocking PRlauncher.exe , PRMumble.exe and/or PRBf2.exe
whitelist all three and try again

I made sure this was all correct and white-listed, and it was but that did not correct the issue.
I disabled my Firewall (Windows Firewall) and my Antivirus (Windows Defender) and unfortunately the spam of text for PRLauncher was still there, I also set all three of the exe's to run as admin.

I found some similar problems on Reddit and some clan site and it seems to lead to Mumble not working, I've taken a look and its not even loading it up when I'm in a game, so I assume this is why I cannot hear anyone speaking and I get the error where its shows up the voice coms chatter. I tried this link, Information - Mumble issues - fixed! | PRTA - Project Reality Teamwork Alliance, but it keeps saying connection refused so I'm not sure if that's meant to happen or I have the wrong details.

Just tried again and seems to be connecting to mumble, and the in-game PRLauncher text has gone so it was defiantly a mumble problem.

I tried to manual insert the server info into mumble as described in that post but for me its not working. Its 1 year I cannot play PR because of this, im going mad, any idea?
