How the hell do you use UAVs!?

Post by lordzionleader »

Hey guys.

I have played PR for a couple of weeks now and just discovered that as commander I could do things with UAVs. So I went on the map 'Fools Road' and played as the Militia faction against the British.

I set up a forward outpost, got four heavy supply crates via truck, put them close enough to the forward outpost, constructed the outpost, applied to be commander and then I clicked on squad tab and right clicked the map so I can get special actions like where to position squads on the map. I noticed there was a UAV icon so I clicked on it then clicked on my position on the map, so logically, the UAV would be right overhead.

I then zoomed in with the scroll button and it now says "-Satellite Feed Lost-"
What do I do to make it work? I pressed every key on the keyboard, I even did this at Militia HQ and had the same problem. Do I press a combination of buttons? What do I need to do to get visual feed from the UAV?

Cheers.

You have to enter the commander outpost in your main. There is a special outpost for commanders in every main. You can control UAV only from there.

Is it the tent with all the tech **** with a apc blocking the other side of the tent?
If so, I've already tried and failed :-(

NVM. I went there and pressed E inside the tent and I could get access.

Page 45 of the manual. ;)

Can the manual not be hosted on the site? I'd like to link these people the answers they seek.

Some of the greatest commanders in history had humble beginnings

Good to see more people using the position, well done.

Yes. It's a bit unintuitive, so no shame in asking.

Good you've got it figured out now, I'll lock this thread as the question has been answered, I hope you enjoy commanding, PR needs more commanders ;)
