Mapping the buttons.

Ok, I am having some problems trying to remap a couple of my buttons, I am trying to change the crouch button from lft ctrl to left shift, but it won't let me...nor will it let me do it for the alt button. I removed left shift from it's preveious assignment...even under every other place it held...i kept saying that there is a duplicate left shift for the helicopter...I looked and there isn't left shift for helo anywhere.. o.0 Could someone help me?
