In fairness it is Kashan, I'm guessing inf layer, you can get 50 kills in the MTLB with the .308 with zoom. Up-armored HMMWV is just OP too. Has like BRDM-2 (or better) armor and them smoke launchers. Once (might have been version 1.0 or pre 1.0 though) I survived a landmine with CROWS HMMWV in Karbala.
Up-Armored HMMWVs, with Frag 7 kits, have only been around since post 1.0. Seeing as though you were playing against Iraqi Ins. you most likely hit a improvised IED, which are only effective against the lightest vehicles, Logi Trucks, Land Rovers, Standard HMMWVs, etc.
