To each their own. I travel back and forth a lot (student) and take my laptop and headset with me all the time, so it always gets a few bumps. If there was an expensive headset that was built to last (like titanium, aluminium or something, better than plastic and strong cables) I'd maybe buy it, but they don't exist. Even 200 dollar ones are made of plastic. They always break when I move them around a lot.Steeps wrote:Well if you take care of them, $150-200 headsets are fantastic. I prefer my cheap headsets. The sound quality is fine once you go above 25 euros, decent mic with it and you're golden. I'd rather spend the big money on good speakers I can use for movies too.
