1312: Error verifying integrity of the following files:
c:\Programfiles (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\mods\pr\levels\gaza\server.zip
This may be caused by unauthorized file modifications, hard drive corruption, or file permission errors.
To fix this issue, please reinstall the latest available version of Project Reality: BF2
^This has occurred to me twice, the first time (about 2 weeks ago) i just reinstalled PR and it worked out fine. Now it's happening again. I'm sure reinstalling will fix it but i'd like for someone to look into this, because if i have to reinstall every few times i play it's going to get annoying fast.
a cursory look is showing me that server.zip does not exist in the folder indicated by the error message. some other map folders lack this server.zip and other files as well.
Edit: A further investigation has shown that AVG, my virus protection, has detected trojan horses within the server.zip of multiple maps particularly of note are the heightmapsecondary_xxxx.raw files. It has chosen to remove them.
should i be telling AVG to ignore these or is this a problem the devs need to look into?

Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.

Re: Gaza strip file corruption?
Hello
Thanks for the report
It's a false positive. AVG is known for giving some false positives.
We will never bundle the files with malware, trojans, rootkits or any computer nasties.
I've reported the file to AVG as a False Positive
The PR Folder/Battlefield 2 Folder can safely be added to the exception list. Reinstall PR again and it should work.
VirusTotal result scan for gaza server.zip is 1/55:

Also another user had this issue too:
