BFEditor crashes after full re-install

Hey guys, I'd be glad if someone could help me with this.

I set up BFEditor by following Rhino's guide for my BF2 complete collection & PR 0.98. It worked yesterday but I forgot to create bf2_edit so I kinda borked my BF2 install. So I uninstalled all, reinstalled all and re-setup the editor. But now it just crashes on startup. Since I have a similiar setup on PR 1.3 I tried that editor and it opened up. So I just copied all DLL files from PR 1.3 over to BF2 complete collection and while it loaded the editor, after selecting a mod it said "DX 9.0c is required [...]".

It does not work. Yesterday I was able to look at weapons, vehicles etc. but now it won't even load. I guess I need a totally fresh reinstall again.

But how do I completely remove everything (registry? appData folders?) to re-install all this? Is there another way to fix this?

You making sure to run in WinXP compatibility? This directX crash looks like that could be the issue
