PR community is the worst since SA

i've been playing PR since about 6 years. not under this name but i think i was called "KnucklePunch311" or "KnucklePunchII" back then. firstly only played LAN with a good freind, then started playing online. and within those 5 years i think i was only banned ONCE. that was when i was still new and fucking around. but since then never again.
all until now, all since SA was released. this community has tunred into the WORST since then.
i was never kicked and banned for all kinds of bullshit THAT often. in any game.

the other day, my buddy was kicked, because there was alot of chatter going on in ALL chat, and he wrote 3 messages and was kicked for spamming. we were in and APC togehter, right after he was kicked, they kicked me for being in asset on my own. like, are you fucking kidding me?

yesterday, i was BANNED form a server because an admin (jedimushroom, or something like that) told me how to play MY role. APC again, i tried to pick up my buddy in the field so i could get a gunner. and since our main was kind of sourrounded i drove all along the outside of the map. now he told me to drive back because i am not allowed to go out of base on my own. well guess what, i was ABOUT to get a gunner. and he was an admin, NOT commander, he should have NO right to tell people how to play their class unless they harm the teamplay, or waste assets or anything the like. which i was clearly not. basically told him to go fuck himself after he threatened me to kick me if i would not play the way he wanted it. and i think i had every right to call him out for his bullshit.

and there is countless more shit like that, which has happened to me ever since SA. i swear, admins are literally just looking for reasons to kick someone. for the smallest thing. and if there is no reaosn to kick someone, they MAKE one.

Its a basic rule to not leave the mainbase without a gunner. Its not an excuse to pick your gunner up somwhere else, its him who needs to get back to base. I don't know a server where this rule isnt enforced. And its not the commanders duty to enforce rules but the admins job. If an admin is telling you that you are breaking rules, you should listen to him and follow his instructions, if not its your own for getting punished.

Has nothing todo with the community, thats just lack of common sense.

If you say you constantly have problems with server admins I strongly advice you to read through all the servers rules on their websites or their threads here in the forums before playing there.

It sounds like a bit of communication between the both of you could have gone a long way instead of going straight to the insults.
Either way this is the wrong place to post this, take it to the specific server admins.

no, i was coming for my friends aid. i'm not sitting at main waiting for him to die. that is not common sense that is retarded. and i was not breaking the rules. i was making tactical decisions. i'd have agreed to kick me IF i would have wasted that assest. but i have not. matter of fact, HE just wasted the asset by kicking me. admins have no right to interfere into my tactical playstyle. just because he doesn't understand it.

You dont want to sit in main, so you think its better to solo a valuable asset to possible resuce one guy? but you think its better to drive off without gunner...what if you had run into an enemy lat or apc, what would you do? yell at him acting immature like you doing now?

Please go play something else. If this is your attitude ingame, this isnt for you

like i said, outside of the map. tactical decision. MY CHIOCE. sometimes you have to risk something to get to something. and if that is your attitude in the game so sit on your *** in main, maybe YOU should go play something else.

They actually do have the right to intervene in case your playstyle is breaking the server rules. Almost every server has a few basic rules which can be found among all other Project Reality servers.

Taking vehicles out of base on your own to pick up people whilst a 2 men crew is needed to fully operate a vehicle is forbidden for quite some years.

Your posts state pretty much that you have broken server rules and now you are angry that you have punished for breaking the server rules. Telling an admin to have sexual intercourse with himself isn't really working in your favor either.

I have some advise for you, next time when you start up the game and you join a server, read the rules and obey them.

Your posts have stated that you broke the rules on purpose although the intentions aren't that bad, saving a friend is what anyone would do, however nowadays things don't work like that. With the influx of new players and gameplay quality being more influential by the great amount of new players, server administrators are forced to enforce their rules.

Your really not making sense...outside map? If you can be outside the map so can the enemy. So risking a valuable asset that spawns every 10/20 mins cost more than 2 tickets it better than having your friend die, costing the team 2 tickets.....

Driving to your gunner with an one manned apc is not allowed on our server, and its the same for most other server. He can walk to base or he can die. By driving there you risk being attacked when you cant defend yourself and its very close to wasting the asset. We understand why you do it, but we do not agree with it. If you cant follow the admins instructions, you will be removed from the server.
And admins have EVERY right to interfere with everything you do as it is their server and their rules.

Honestly you and your friend have been told several times to behave on our server and follow the rules. We have been quite lenient with you two, more than is warranted, but you continue to disregard instructions and continue with the same horrible attitude.

Remember, if everyone you meet is an *******, its probably not them.

so what everybody is saying basically you are not allowed to make your own tactical decision anymore? why even bother having something like a squadleader. if i would have gotten that APC right to my buddy i would have saved time and could go right into being effective. as i said, sometimes you have to risk something to achieve something in return, we were losing that match anyway. so what does it matter? why not taking risk now when it's needed. sometimes you have to break the rules. simple as that.
and no, not everyone is an *******. appels is cool. and few other guys. but very few.
oh boy if you'd know. we have been behaving by far the best on your server so far.

Its not regarded as a "tactical" decision by us.
We have rules which we dont want ANYONE to break, for any reason, and they will be enforced. They should allow for the gameplay we want. If you want to discuss the rules so that you dont have to break them, you are free to come to our forums at Operational Detachment Sierra
If not, you are of course free to play on a server which allows for the "tactical" decisions you want.

I guess the tread can be closed, not much more constructive feedback is gonna come out of it.

Tactical Decision for your gunner:
- Walk back to main
- Take an abandoned Logi back to main to rearm it, switch to APC
- Request friendly armor take you back to main
- Request transport helicopter / truck / jeep / apc to take you back to main
- Go fight and happen to die

Tactical decisions for you:
- Wait for gunner

Only when your vehicle is manned with the minimum crew you are allowed to take it to the field, as per server rules. There you have all the tactical freedom you could wish for.

If you look at it from an admin's point of view, when a server rule is in place that prohibits people to drive solo - and you deal with that several times a day, every day. Would said admin ask what the person is doing, or simply warn and kick?

I'm sure it was just a temp ban, as it mostly is. Now that you know this is the rule on many servers, the only option is to wait for your gunner and then kick some major ***

well, we ARE kicking ***. my gunner would most of the time get around 20kills. sometimes several matches in a row. i'm not saying we are the ultimate badasses. there's alot of people who can do much better. but we simply have our own playstyle. and we ARE doing good. so i don't get the fuzz over all this.
but, whatever i guess.

You can break the rules of a server, but don't be surprised if an admin acts on it - in ways you don't like.

Perhaps next time ask first, maybe the admin is OK with it then. And if not, well......

The quality of this feedback is not particularly worthy of response or debate. If its a choice between the two, we would opt for the latter.
