Bolt action rifles

Post by tank1a2 »

Im taking about the bolt action rifles such as the lee-enfield and mosin insurgency and vietnam how long do i have to wait to shot it to become accurate.I was hiding at the tree in vietnam for like 30 seconds already when i saw i guy i was standing still for so long,I peeked out the corner then waited 4 seconds for the mosin to become accurate. But when i shot i didn't see the guy i shot at died i was 100% on target i was certain on that.

Maybe lag, but anyways I don't see the point using bolt action rifles such as lee enfield and mosin, they don't even one shot, you can't really shoot someone far away, and the most stupid thing: Scope version oneshots, wtf?

All BARs one-shot kill if you

a.) hit people in the head or

b.) hit unarmored parts of the body (e.g. legs, feet).

It happens a lot to every weapon in the game, you just notice it a lot more when you only have one shot to drop someone. Hit registration and hit boxes aren't known to be fantastic in BF2, and as such PR has inherited the same issue. Most of the time it's a miscommunication between your computer and the server, you are shooting at a phantom so to speak. The enemy is rendered at position A according to your computer but he is really at position B which is a meter or two away from where you shot. The server renders your shot where it is supposed to be but because your computer is a bit behind when it comes to your opponents location the information is at odds with itself. It ends up with you seeing a hit and the server registering a miss, this can happen a lot during a round but you rarely notice it because you have 29 more rounds to follow up with.

I hope this clears it up a bit for you.

(This theory is based off assumption and enough play time in PR, I may be technically wrong but the point remains)

Plus if you're moving your mouse I believe the deviation cone enlarges.
