currently restricted to play Co-op and MP

Hi all-

Im new to the game and have searched for the answer here with no luck, so sorry if I am posting a repeated topic.

I get a message when trying to load Co-op and MP:
"Joining Public servers is restricted at this time. Please confirm that there are no restrictions currently placed on your profile, such as modified files."

I just downloaded the game from the suggested torrent and have not modified anything to my knowledge.
And there are no emails marked as classified on my server...oops. Sorry...running for important high level jobb in the US...nevermind! Scratch the last...

are you running any type of AV? did you whitelist prlauncher.exe prbf2.exe and prmumble.exe?

go to documents
rename projectreality to projectrealityOLD
open launcher, config your video options, and try relaunching the game

does it tell you which specific file is causing the verification error?

did you skip any updates it asked you to do?

is it an offline account? make an new online account?
