coop local mode vs internet mode

Hello all,

New player here, who enjoys the game, with a question about coop.

What is the difference between 'local' and 'internet' modes?

I have been playing on local, so I can get the feel of the game and how it works but I haven't tried coop on the internet mode.

Does internet mode let me play with bots and people as well?

Yes, it's like co-op in local, except online has your entre team being real people instead of bots. It's great for learning the game in a not quite as serious as deployment manner.
