I have been asked several times now, but I am not interested into leading the insurgency team due to numerous factors which makes it not attractive for me to lead the OPFOR side.

If the OPFOR commander needs advise, I can of course give it, but I am not going to command the OPFOR side.

And the *LAAF* is now on summer holiday at the Syrian/Turkish border fighting extremists, so other members can't participate either.
We are staying up!

I believe he said OpFor. Either way I don't mind which team but would really prefer if people could check and join the one with less players.

I have opened sign ups, I know it's a few hours before midnight but I'm just too excited to wait any longer.

This really sounds fun and I want me in but alas I cannot because I have Saturday obligations in the fall.

Brothers, take up arms against the western invaders! They come for our oil, and tell us democracy is the way to go.

I say nein!

We shall respect our traditions! The way we grew up! I want my 13 wives and for them not to speak back to me when I tell them to make me a sandwich!

Join me in Bravo OPFOR. I will make you into a strong fighting warrior unit! Through tactics, training, and determination, you will fight better than any BLUFOR squad!

We have 82 Sign-Ups so far. That's pretty solid. :)

There's still room on both sides, so if you're interested, sign up.

If you have questions, post them here or PM me or Korsakov.

Soo... is this still going? How's insurgency on a competitive environment?

Dont question the wikipedia! Just because it reports different things on different languages does not make it unreliable source!

Actually it never really came to that and I'm likely going to be closing to the campaign. No what happened was an entire team didn't show up because they believed themselves too good to play against "randoms", so we haven't had an opportunity to try out Insurgency at all. It's a great shame because we likely won't be having any more tournaments for PR after this, perhaps some events on our public server in the future but that's it.

There was a match this past weekend? There wasn't a single post in BluFor forums so we had no idea there was a game.

Thanks for your kind words. I didn't even know that there was a battle. There was no information in the (blufor-) forums.

One other problem with this "campaign" is that a functioning server wasn't even established ahead of time. At the last minute, OD-S was able to provide a server for the battle.

Actually we were told we would be waiting a week for the opposite team to get there stuff together and prepare. Clearly a lack of communication.

The battles normally take place every week and a schedule is in the FH forums.

BLUFOR HQ demanded some things be met before his team would fight again. It appears that because he didn't get his demands fulfilled, he told his own team OPFOR was not ready for battle but all of OPFOR did indeed show up. But perhaps i'm reading the situation wrongly.

Also, I know FH is very grateful for the OD-S support with the server. That was very good on you guys.
