Crazy Funny PR Times - Yours

Good Afternoon,

What are some of your craziest funniest times on PR?

1. I got an app for my phone that would play animal noises. We were playing on Korengal and the cache was in the cave on the NE side of the map. I played a couple of sounds and folks were like, did the PR devs add new animal sounds to the game? When everyone figured it out, we all laughed so hard for awhile.

2. Just the other day on Fallujah, I got to laughing. Half of the Insurgent team was on the same known cache while we were building roadblocks in H3 area. I can't remember if I started it or what but we laughed for a solid 10 minutes. The mumble local player list was so long and everyone laughed until they were crying. hehehehehe... good times..

Back in either 1.0 or 0.9-something some guy had the idea to get 20 ARF or insurgents (armed) kits and move as a human blob, this ended as soon as it started when a stryker came up and used us for target practice.

Today, I played as Sapper on the Insurgents team on Al Basrah. I think more description is not really needed but yeah, every single marked IED got stepped on by team mates. Was very fun as at one point before I gave up on the IEDs, I just opened my map and made bets inside my head who's going to hit the next one and where.

My crazy funny PR times was when my bombcar glitched trough the parking garage on Gaza and I ended up on top of the Merkava I was hunting for. However I became the hunted and drove into the parking garage near the big T and only because of sheer luck and the panic I glitched trough the wall and landed on top of the Merkava.

A guy once on muttrah was flying a chopper. And one of my squad mates started playing porn over his mic and it made the pilot mad, so he crashed into the mosque.

On saareema.... my tank gunner thought the us forces were enemy... oh boy wasn't funny but it was.

one drunken night everyone was flipping out after the games end. Was funnier than usual and when I thought I couldnt laugh even more, someone started playing the harmonica. Heard it for the first time back then, still dont know which player that is

Mine would be on Barracuda nam. We had a four man squad with SL, Medic, Engi, and a rifleman for ammo. We took a boat around the north side of the island to the east of the NVA base. Crawled up the side of the hill to about 300m south of the NVA base where the road curves at a downward slope. The sapper goes to lay the mine in the middle of the road where it will be hard to stop.
He is just about to finish when the BTR-60 come rolling down the hill, he sees the guy laying there stops, kills the guy and tells his team about the mine.

So the sapper is laying there wounded. A full squad in a trans truck comes down the hill, and they see it and try to avoid it, by going around just to the left, if your looking up hill. At the same time the second BTR-60 which is smoking coming back from the front doesn't see it and runs into it killing the BTR-60, trans truck and its occupants resulting in about 10 kills and intense laughter.

Hands down one of my funniest moments in PR, Even got the BR file on my PC somewhere, happened a couple months before 1.0 was released.

When mumble was created and it was put in the game, you could hear enemy speaking too. So this happened next. The map was Kozelsk and we were militia defending the tunnels. On north entrance we had like 12 people defending the entrance. Suddently we heard "dont shoot! friendly coming in!". Because of smoke i didnt see before it was too late.. There were russians running towards us with grenades and laughing like maniacs!! The CHAOS what happened next was so funny that i almost fell of my chair! Everyone was screaming "FUCK NO!! KILL THOSE ********!! YOU FUCKING CHEATING *******!!" But too late, 3 grenades in small room full of people made the job done. We laughed whole round because of that exelent diversion. Those days..

Back on 0.7 and on on TG all kinds of hilarities happened. We would try and run convoys only to get blown up by a single car, other times we had whole platoons led the right way when 12 men squads and 120+ player servers were a thing. Lots of awesome and hilarity.

Ok, this has to be the absolutely CRAZIEST thing that has ever happened to me to date. We are playing Hades Peak on HOG. North Fort flag was in contention. Well, as usual, I was building FOBS to support the assault. The Lynx came by and dropped off a couple of guys. I shot one of them and thought my squad mate had gotten the other. Well, a while later, I hear the gasping of a wounded guy walking up to me. I didn't notice that he was the enemy so I started talking in local mumble that here's a patch and to follow me to the crate. I did the, follow the voice thing to the crates where I requested a medic kit. Well, he didn't follow me so I went back over to him all the while talking in local mumble. I had my original AR spawn kit back in my hands when I walked to him. Well, we got nose to nose, he had healed enough from the patch I gave him to where he could make out the details of my uniform. We looked each other up and down. We both suddenly realized that we were enemies and commenced firing. Well, he died and I lived but my god, that was the funniest craziest moment I have ever had on PR to date. Thank you HappyWino!! I'm still laughing about it.

I had another crazy Gary moment on Kokan a day or so ago. Well, the LAV was attacking the H13 cache from the field in I12. Well, I drove up to the LAV from the north. When I got beside it, it started moving towards the cache not realizing I was there. We were racing side by side for quite awhile before he slowed. The turret started moving about like, the gunner was freaking out that I was right beside him. Of course I detonated before he destroyed me. OMG, that was hilarious Farts.....

SwampFox, I had a similar experience 1 hour ago

I was playing on Operation Archer, leading a squad to a nearby weapon cache to take it down. It was in the hill underground fortification west side of the castle mountain, across the road.

At one point, I found myself alone. My teammates didnt had my luck, and I had the opportunity to sneak inside the enemies lines.

I think what kept me alive is this Canadian machinegun. It has a very quiet and particuliar blast noise. I'm just guessing the enemies didnt relate my shooting as enemy shooting.

So, reaching the funny part, I make myself through the rocky hilltop to take the ladder that goes down on a bunker roof. Make my way in the underground complex and shoot down 2 enemies resupplying straight from the weapon cache. I keep going deeper inside and get engaged by a rifleman waiting for me on the corner. My vision is blurred. I unload all my magazine while falling back since im taking hits and starts to bleed.

Few seconds passes and im now patching myself with my only patch. Wich isnt enough. I think I killed the guy.

Therefore I make my way to the weapon cache and switch kits with the numerous insurgents kits laying on the ground, investigating for any patches available on the spot.

While im doing that, an enemy spawn on the cache. He doesnt seem to know what he's doing. Also, the guy that I was shooting comes out of the corridors he was hiding with and start to walk to the cache.

At this point, I have a field dressing in my hands and a taliban kit on me xD..

Approcimately 5 seconds passes and the 2 enemies just mind their business, they know im here, yet it seems they didnt notice I wear a canadian camo.

I finish patching myself, so my enemy does. The other guy takes an AA kit and slowly walks away.

It gives me time to pick-up my Machinegun on the ground, rearm it, and shoot these 2 unconscious guy. haha

Later on, one of my squad members show up and blow the cache while I keep covering the surrounding.

I would like to point out that I, as a CIVI, reported the Brit guy that mowed us all down for disruptive gameplay. He was temp banned. Please note that while I enjoy the game, people like this are smacktards IMO.

Outside of this, this was a funny and comical thing.
