My PR Launcher is stuck on Loading News for half an hour. Wont let me select anthng

So as title describes, I'm stuck on loading news. Ive reinstalled the game and even windows to no avail. Running Win10 on Surface PRO 3. Any suggestions?

did you allow prmumble.exe prbf2.exe and prlauncher.exe through firewall and your AV?
