You removed a pretty active and decent admin. Your server is suffering really bad because nobody is ever around to change the map. As a result, we are stuck playing the same map over and over again. This is killing your server. You should have cut ducky21 some slack, he was pretty angry that things went unfairly for him on more than one occasion and it seemed like he was trying to rectify the situation but had a hard time. I definitely think you should give him another chance, he is pretty much the only admin I've seen give your server a huge amount effort and hard work. It's disappointing to see someone like him who put so much of his unpaid , free time , to become removed. Being an admin on your server is incredibly frustrating, you don't pay him enough to run your-sever on-top of the fact that he was in trial mode. Given the other fact that he was there most of the time to play but instead was forced to 90% admin work. as well as the fact that you were basically overworking ducky21 due to your understaffed force I feel that you guys all owe to him for dealing with the BS your server gets.His activity helped put your server on the #1 spot because right now your server is DEAD because it hasn't changed map at all. You should see how many hours ducky21 is active, its overwhelming and the least you can do is try to reconsidering your decision.

I didn't make the decision to remove Ducky. I was actually vouching for him. I just copy and pasted that last post from the admin forums.

Also this has nothing to do with being paid or unpaid. All admins volunteer their time, and they set how much they donate that time to the community. They also understand that their time spent doesn't entitle them to a position if they misbehave.

People will complain about any action we take, so at this point complaining is likely going to have little impact on our staff's decision.

Even if he was the most active admins, I would rather have semi active ones who know what the fuck they are doing. Then shit ones like him, who are active all the time.

He consistently missed reports and would get himself into very borderline base rape situations. This simply cannot go on, so he is now removed. k

I'd just like to make a public announcement.

We've been getting some complaints about our administrators' behavior both on Free Candy Van and other servers. I don't put credence into about 95% of these reports, but I would like to make something clear.

If you have a problem with our administration, or any other aspect of our community, report it in the specific sections we have made available. Either on our site, or if you are uncomfortable with that... here on realitymod.com. If you don't report your complaint... then obviously we won't have the knowledge to look into it.

More importantly... do not personally message me or any other staff with insults, and do not personally attack anyone in our community (even out of frustration.) You will be banned. We do not tolerate that behavior. At all. If your complaint is legitimate, we WILL look into it... however if you still attack members of our community (for whatever reason) you will be banned. Period.

Let's look at some hypothetical examples:

If a =DRK= member doesn't bring you a supply crate, messaging me saying "your community is a piece of shit, and you're a fucking idiot" will get you banned.

If you feel an admin was being a troll on another server, and you message our senior admins saying "get your shit together you dumbass, you're a faggot and your admins suck" you will get banned.

If you are removed from our admin team for calling our players faggots, and then you respond by making your profile picture a man stretching his **** on our website and saying our admin team is shit and retarded, you will be banned. Fucking obviously.

Constructive criticism and even negativity is welcome, as long as it doesn't devolve into pointless and blatant disrespect. We don't pride ourselves on building the most perfect and elitist community that Project Reality has to offer, and we understand we have much to fix. However... we do pride ourselves on working to maintain as respectful and progressive a supporting environment as we can, while allowing the community to freely voice their concerns on how to improve ourselves.

We understand there are players on our servers that can be disrespectful and immature, and we do our best to deal with that volume... but don't mistake that as a license to treat others just as poorly, or as clearance to personally attack our staff. If we have issues. Tell us. You won't be removed for criticizing, or if you are (due to admin abuse) contact me personally, and I will review your case to reinstate you myself. However... we still expect your criticism to be mature. Do not confuse our intolerance to incivility as an intolerance to criticism.

Also FFG... I know you're no longer an administrator with us, but you don't have to weigh in on Ducky's removal. The decision has been made, and while we respect Ducky's dedication to the server... the administration team feels confident in its decision. If anyone has anything to add to Ducky's removal, private message a senior administrator. No reason to make any more drama over this than there needs to be.

As one of the admins on the server, let me at least explain the mentality of at least me not being on the server as often as I would like. The past couple of months have seen my time spent on the server dwindle from several hours per day to maybe being on for 1-3 rounds every few days. This is mainly due to a combination of school/work and me being burnt out of the game due to me playing so often during the summer. At times I don't even feel the urge to play the game anymore and we have had some admins in the past have the same issue of being burnt out from PR.

In the end, we are all human and to me, my number 1 priority is me and my academic and mental well being. In the future, who knows, maybe I will be in a position to return to the server on a more regular basis, but at this moment, I do what I can. I hope Danger_6 that this sheds a small light on at least my reasons for not being on the server as often as I wish, and if interested, we are always excepting admin applications for our server.

Also I have to stress that our server is populated at an obscene rate. It is very difficult to have our staff available 24/7. We deal with volumes not dealt with by almost all other Project Reality servers, so having the staff to keep up with that is constantly a challenge.

I have a strong suspicion that rumor was propagated by someone who was denied an application because they were a terrible admin, not because of their accent.

With that said, obviously having good language skills are important to being an administrator on a Project Reality server... so. Yeah. Accents are one thing. Being unable to articulate yourself or talk fluently is another.

Language skills have nothing to do with race. At all. (If you disagree with that please tell me so I can prove you wrong.) So be careful throwing around that word. Being racist has nothing to do with it.

However, for you specifically Potato. Being that I completely understood everything you just said, I'd say that's a simple enough qualification for you to file an application. We don't care about your nationality or race, but we do care about your ability to clearly and accurately communicate your intentions, feedback, or opinions with fellow staff.

because we needed active admins, he was a active admin and one of the senior admins vouched for his personality. he has since been removed for a unrelated issue.

Look anyways Potato if you ever see any racist shit or anything, please let us know. I'm not gonna lie, there will be people who slip through the cracks, but that's why that report section is open. If you ever have any concerns, post them there. Our moderation and administration teams are separate for a reason. We will look into it.

Admins literally cannot delete your reports. Even if they found a way to, a moderator could reverse it. And I trust our mods. There aren't many of them and they're almost all my personal friends.

If you want me to sit in on your admin application personally I will.

But just know that if you're still a complete fuckstick in the interview I'll still deny you lol just not for racist reasons, pinky swear. <3
