The Project Reality Teamwork Alliance Prides itself in being the best damn server in the world. Both in terms of amount of calculcations it can do per second, but also the quality of gameplay we enjoy everyday!

There is no other server out there as good as ours, really.. If you even tried we would just laugh at you like a flaccid penis.

When the going gets tough the tough gets going, but let me tell you when PRTA gets tough you get dead. We are so badass they make movies about ninjas about us. That is because number one movies about us always attracts a crowd, and you never see it.. Cuz its fucking NINJA!

Regardless of all complaints we receive we always strive to ignore some more, and if an admin has made a mistake we simply ban the player from the forum; Problem solved!

A second EU Project Reality Server

Expanding our foothold in Europe!
Our community is growing at a steady pace, and with that means the ability and requierment to set up another server for all our members. We have seen complaints about people not being able to get into our main server in europe due to lack of reserved slots. This is our solution to that problem!

The goal of the PRTA EU2 Server is to ensure we get enough contact with the PRTA playerbase to not leave anyone out. We wish to create a solid and great teamwork and gameplay atmosphere promoting both new players and veterans alike to enjoy themselfs in some epic combat!

Person specification:
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Qualities needed to perform the task:

• Able to contribute 2+ hours per day.
• Limited programming abilities (bash, python).
• Ability to understand software systems at a high level.
• Interested in learning how Linux works.
• Interested in learning how to use Linux to provide software services.

Bonus:

• Experience with Puppet.
• Experience with containerisation.

External Site Liaison

Role description
Role title: External site liaison.
Reports to: Comms department head.
Responsible for: Monitoring and maintaining a persistent presence on external sites.
Purpose of post: To help connect PRTA to the outside world and help attract people to the community.
Contacts(who will they deal with): Comms department head, community managers, games managers, external contacts.
Major duties: Maintain a list of interesting external sites and regularly monitor them for new developments. Help maintain a persistent presence on a set of external sites which are thought to be relevant to PRTA. Help promote PRTA's activities & capabilities on a set of external sites. Continually look out for new sites which may be of interest to us. Regularly communicate new developments to the rest of management in a condensed format. Guide people from outside PRTA to the appropriate places to ask about membership or complain about things.

Person specification:
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Qualities needed to perform the task:

• Familiarity with a wide range of tactical-FPS-related forums, news outlets, etc.
• Good written English with friendly & approachable writing style.

Competency framework:
Work-related behaviour which is necessary:

• Excellent record keeping.

Your servers are laggy as fuck. Maps like Shijia or Wanda are unplayable. Never had this problem on other servers.

The lag is persistent through the entirety of the round.

On other servers it goes away within minutes but here it only gets worse. Even proning down becomes an issue due to extreme rubber banding. Really unplayable.

Never experienced it on NEW, MeRk, OD-S or HOG.

Maybe it is 2 servers on same box? I would start there and disable one server to check if it improves performance.

In my brief time as an admin on EU2(by default), PRISM was always on and in active use.

Like I just said on our forum to you. This thread here is not the right place to discuss server issues. Also let me quote what you said in our shoutbox:

So basically you refuse to make a report. You didn't say anything on the server and you didn't file a report about him on the forum. You also didn't report his forum name in his admin application to inform the moderator team BUT you have the time to make us look bad as possible to the wider community by reporting it here. You are around here for long enough to know that we have a forum were you can express your concerns. For me the only reason why you make this report here is because you are generally upset with our community and well, you are free to dislike us but don't expect me or others to take you serious if you act like this.

Now let me tell you. Someone else reported his forum name and I personally banned him straight away after seeing the report.
I can't tell anything to the situation on the server as I haven't been around but according to the chatlogs THERE IS NOT A SINGLE REPORT ABOUT HIM.
Admins don't see everything. They rely on reports. If you guys don't make reports then we can't act. Simple.

Ofc PRTA does not in any way support racist mindsets and I will take this to our admins to let them sort this user out.

I did say something on the server lol wrote in allchat 3 times, made !r and so did zodiac from STF and others, it was pretty much an allchat spam discussion. It honestly seemed to me as you had changed the rules, because it was so much reports and spam I figured there was NO WAY the admins didn't see it. That's why I wrote here. Check the chatlogs from Fallujah West (I was going under another name, but that's irrelevant).

It's not about making you look bad, just there is nobody to report, so why make one? I was under the impression that the R&R section is for reports, not feedback. I have no problems with PRTA that would make me want to post here, I just genuinly thought u changed the ruleset or something. Since no admins responded to spam and the reports or his typing in allchat.

I don't like that you suddenly make a public and aggressive pseudo-psychoanalysis of my posts and asume bunch of stuff which was not my intention at all. My intention writing here is to ask if you changed the rules and express my annoyment about this person being ignored. I still don't see that as a legitimate thing to post in R&R from how I've understood the sections use.
