- Will you feature Waffen SS as fraction?

- Whats with St.Lo Breaktrough map?

- Will you use Stuka,Mesh 109 or Mustangs from that old airplane event on any map?

- Are you now only working on Western front? If yes will British come in near future?

-Nope, just the Wehrmacht.

-Being updated, still around ;)

-Once we get a map which we can use them on and they undergo some coding to bring them up to PR standards, then definitely.

-Just Western front, mostly centered around the Normandy campaign. Though Brits would be fun we're lacking player models and many other models to bring them into the game with our limited number of team members we have at the moment.

The page has more than 500 likes now! That deserves a little celebration ;) . Ratface created new ships that will be used on Omaha Beach in the next update. He also optimized existing ships.

The new ships are the Landing Ship Medium (LSM) and Landing Craft Infantry (LCI).

Here's a little comparison picture to get a better idea of their sizes. Enjoy!

The ships look great! Much better than that platform we used to start on.

What's the update on the US MMG that you decided won't be useful as a deployable asset?

Will you take into account that the BAR had no pistol grip and was overall a bit of a shit weapon? :D

I think that was obvious when the alpha was around, almost every video you watch there were people complaining about the BAR XD

I only got to play the alpha on the first day and landed 1 out of 3 games, but the 1 game I played US I used the BAR the entire game. It's a very bittersweet weapon with only 20 rounds and a tad bit inaccurate, but it still did the job. Would I rather have a Thompson? Hell yea :P But is the Thompson as accurate at long range? Hell no :P

Honestly it's a lot better now, but will never match the firepower of the MG42/MG34. That being said, it is a little more versatile than the MG42/MG34. So it does have its ups and downs.

PR:WW2 came into a bump as one member decided to pull out his models during a critical stage development due to divergences related to PR's core development. To not be misinterpreted: this situation is completely unrelated to the team that have always been available to teach him as well as doing final details on his work. Despite this we were unable to retain his services and respective assets.

We are asking community modellers with a grasp of how 3D Max 9 works to fill some of this void by taking in the M1903A4 Springfield Rifle with a M73 scope for the US Sniper Kit. There is another lost model in which we will take the responsibility internally for the time being.

Community Tasks Thread: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f605-c ... tasks.html

For more information or even references please PM [R-COM]Arc_Shielder. We will be glad to assist as always.

Cheers

Reason: Identity removed due to possible accusations of vindictive nature. That was not the point.

Na, towed weapons like Paks are not possible in BF2's engine to my knowledge. As awesome as it may be :(

Currently our implementation of all "towed guns" like the pak36 and pak40 (among others) will be as it was in the alpha. They will be mapper placed and will not be movable other than being able to traverse and elevate.

We've discussed making them movable ala FH2 but we've decided against it both for development reasons and for the fact that since our maps tend to be larger, it wouldn't really be worth making players move the cannons such a far distance.

There has also been discussion on making these types of weapons deploy-able from FOBs, but as seen in the alpha we've decided against this. In most cases both teams will have more than enough cover and handheld AT firepower to combat armor. Adding in deploy-able anti tank guns would only make armor that much more impossible to play while having fun still (though I do love blowing up Shermans! I can claim to be the first person to kill 2 Shermans in the first round of Omaha in the alpha with a Pak40!)

well , the subject of mobile cannons are here:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f558-p ... nnons.html

That's a pity (I had to search , did not know this expression in English :P ) we can not push our guns , opened an interesting range of strategies to use this idea in the team. Maybe make these slowly field- guns push to simulate the weight , combined with the need for fob to build one, it would be an interesting strategic option , while it would stay in the fob region ( to be heavy and slow ) would also be dynamic and not static and can position in either most interesting places, as these ancient field cannons did not possess the same 360 capacity of modern atgm , it would be interesting to push he for a better near coverage.

Still think the possibility of being a deployable asset to fob , very interesting!
