Hi folks, it's been a long time since I last played this awesome mod. A couple of years perhaps.
I need your advice now. Where do I get the Battlefield 2 vanilla now? I used to have a legit copy but I seem to have lost it forever. Now I have a new computer and all my games were gone. How can I restore my game and download it, or even buy a new copy since I believe it should cost a couple of bucks only?

PS. I couldn't find it on Steam either. Seems it has been discontinued.

Welcome back mate, you don't need BF2 copy anymore. So it's standalone, that has sometimes brought in trolls though.. So be careful. They can easly install the game since technically it's free.

The game has definitely evolved into an awesome product. I had so much fun playing it yesterday till morning. Also being able to play it at 3440x1440 resolution on 34' monitor is an incredible experience.
And it is FREE! There definitely are incredible things in this world
